About Us
The West Virginia Medical Institute, Quality Insights of Pennsylvania and Quality Insights of Delaware serve as the Medicare Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) in their respective states. Our QIO contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) run from August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2011.
We partner with and serve as a resource to health care providers and community organizations. Together, we can protect the rights and improve the health of Medicare consumers.
To best meet the needs of the health care providers and Medicare consumers we serve, our staff of health care professionals, data analysts, and communications professionals are located throughout the region, including:

In 2008, we earned Health Utilization Management URAC accreditation, demonstrating our compliance with and commitment to the industry's highest standards for utilization management services.
