Medicare Advantage Appeals Beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage Plans have the right to appeal anytime a home health agency, skilled nursing facility or comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facility determines services are no longer medically necessary.
Medicare Advantage plans are responsible for educating providers about this process.
