Helping Hospitals Transform Care

Quality Insights understands the barriers hospitals face daily. Staffing issues are common, time and resources are limited, and hospitals are working hard to improve quality of care. We want to be your partner in transforming these barriers into opportunities to improve quality of care.

Quality Insights can help locate gaps in care delivery systems and identify the opportunities for creating more efficient and effective care. Our project coordinators can work with you to meet the individual needs of your hospital, whether it's large, small, urban, or rural.

Quality Insights promotes the use of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement collaborative model and supports other performance improvement methods. We also sponsor educational events .

New Contract, New Challenges

Quality Insights began the 8th Scope of Work (SOW) with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in August, 2005.  During this contract we have been helping you to transform care for four national hospital clinical priorities as defined by CMS:

National Patient Safety Awareness

National Patient Safety Awareness Week is the first week of March.

Awareness Week is only the beginning; the National Patient Safety Foundation encourages hospitals and health care organizations across the country to plan events to promote patient safety within their own organizations.

Educational activities can be centered on educating patients on how to become involved in their own health care, as well as working with hospitals to build partnerships with their patient community.
