Pressure Ulcer Reduction in Delaware’s Nursing Homes Despite recent improvements in pressure ulcer reduction in Delaware’s nursing homes, pressure ulcers still occur too often. Select nursing homes will partner with Quality Insights to reduce the number of pressure ulcers that occur in Delaware.

Quality Insights will provide technical and educational assistance to those nursing homes that agree to work on reducing pressure ulcers. Free pressure ulcer reduction tools will be available to all nursing homes in Delaware. For more information on the pressure ulcer reduction project, please contact us.

Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes
On October 22, 2009, the second phase of the Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes campaign was kicked off with the launch of a new Web site and the announcement of an all new set of goals. Even if you were a part of the first phase of the campaign, you will need to re-enroll to be a continuing part of this project. Quality Insights encourages all Delaware nursing homes to visit the Web site and re-join the Advancing Excellence project.
