Medicare Beneficiary Rights If you feel like you are not receiving quality care, or did not receive quality care, you have the right to call 1-800-MEDICARE. The hotline will notify us that you would like a free review. You can file a complaint about your doctor without giving your name. But if you want to know what happens after you file your complaint, you must be willing to use your name.
Medicare Beneficiary Responsibilities You must give your complaint to us in writing. As soon as we get it, we will start the review. The review can take three to six months. We will tell you the outcome of the review if you want to know it. Learn how you can file a quality of care complaint.
